Corporate Social Responsibility

Our approach

FRA Services Ltd exists to make the buildings people live and work in safer. That purpose sits at the centre of how we think about our wider responsibilities — to the people who use the buildings we assess, to the environment, and to the people we work with.

Safety & community impact

Our core service is our biggest social contribution: identifying fire safety risks before they cause harm. We take that responsibility seriously by carrying out thorough, honest assessments rather than a minimum-compliance exercise, and by writing reports that are genuinely usable by the landlords, housing providers and building managers who rely on them.

Environmental responsibility

As a consultancy, our environmental impact is mostly tied to travel and paperwork, and we try to reduce both:

Ethical business practices

We aim to deal fairly and transparently with clients, subcontractors and suppliers — clear scopes of work, fair payment terms, and straightforward pricing with no hidden costs. Our approach to fair treatment of people is set out further in our Diversity & Inclusion Policy and Anti-Slavery Statement.

People

We invest in keeping our own knowledge current, including ongoing professional development and industry membership, so that the advice we give reflects current legislation and best practice rather than out-of-date guidance.

Community engagement

We share fire safety guidance and regulatory updates publicly through our news page, so that landlords and building managers — not just our direct clients — have easier access to current information.

Review
